New Appliances

You know you are married and getting old when you get excited because you are getting a new range and dishwasher!

Our range has been giving error codes for a couple of weeks now. Chris went online and found what they meant and I called a local appliance repairman. We were thinking he would be able to fix it without spending a fortune...we were wrong! It would cost just as much to fix it as it would be to buy a brand new range.

So this past weekend Chris and I visited Lowe's and Weathers to get prices on ranges and dishwashers. Our dishwasher is probably 20+ years old. It sounds like a lawn mower while it is on. So I will be glad to have something quite.

Of all the appliances we looked at I was set on getting GE appliances. They just have a good look to them and seemed to have all the features we needed. That night Chris found some reviews on them that were not good, so he started looking at different brands. We went back Sunday to Lowe's and found a Whirlpool range and dishwasher we liked. Chris ordered them both Monday and they should be delivered within the next two weeks.

I went with smooth top range. Everyone I talked to like theirs and said they were easy to clean. We shall see!
